This species is characterised by its few, broadly ovate to elliptic leaves and by the indumentum of the inflorescens with pale hairs, and fewer, rather dark glandular hairs. Stellate hairs occur only sparsely along the margins of the phyllaries. Probably endemic. In Denmark very rare. Only found in Grejsdalen near Vejle.
