This species is easily recognised by the shape of its leaves, by the indumentum of the inflorescence and by the usually distinct margin of stellate hairs on the phyllaries. Endemic. In Denmark rare and only found in the south-eastern part of Jylland between Silkeborg and Kolding, and near Middelfart and Strib on Fyn.
